How Continental Learning Academy collects, uses and protects your personal information under the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).

Who we are
Continental Learning Academy (Pty) Ltd, registration number 2025/732169/07, 1127 Burnett Street, Hatfield, Pretoria, 0083, is the responsible party for personal information collected through this website and our enrolment process.
What we collect
- Details you send through our enquiry form: your name, email address, phone number, the programme you are interested in, your preferred study mode and your message.
- When you enrol: the identity, contact, education and payment details needed to register, assess and certificate you.
- For online courses: your login details, course progress and assessment results.
Why we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and recommend a programme.
- To enrol, teach, assess and certificate you.
- To report training progress to your employer, where your employer pays for or arranges your training.
- To meet our legal and accreditation obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we only send you marketing if you ask us to.
Who we share it with
- Our accreditation partner, Hatfield Corner College, and certifying bodies such as the ICB, when you enrol on a programme they register or certificate.
- Service providers who host our website, email and learning platform, under agreements that require them to protect your information.
- Regulators or authorities, where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries for up to 12 months, and learner records for as long as accreditation and legal requirements oblige us to.
Cookies and third-party content
This website does not set its own cookies. Our contact page shows an embedded Google map, and our pages load fonts from Google Fonts; Google may collect technical information such as your IP address when these load.
Your rights
You may ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Email us at info@clacademy.co.za, marked for the attention of our Information Officer.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Information Regulator (South Africa).
